We were delighted to be able to grant Cheshire West Voluntary Action (CWVA) £4,900 towards their work building and expanding the voluntary sector.

After speaking with local third sector organisations about their most pressing needs, we realised the biggest challenge in the sector right now is financial restraints. As such, we are deepening our commitment to the local community by offering an office suite free-of-charge to local not‑for‑profits.

We recently awarded Hoole Community Centre a grant so they could purchase a modern touch screen till, making volunteering accessible to all.

We recently granted Older People Active Lives (OPAL) £3,290 to enable them to purchase ten tablets as part of their GoOnLine service.

When Kingsway and Newton Resident’s Trust (KANRA) applied for £878 to purchase a washing machine and dryer, we were delighted to be able to support them.

We gladly funded Cheshire and Warrington Carers Trust £1,800 so that 72 local unpaid carers will be able to enjoy a complimentary therapy session.

STAR’s (Share, Talk and Remember) launched a much-needed support group STAR LAC (Share, Talk and Remember Loss of an Adult Child).

We are excited about a new partnership with Cheshire Connect that will bolster support for charities within Chester and the surrounding area, helping them to deliver their aims more effectively so more people can benefit.

We were delighted to be able to support Chester Pride’s Christmas day lunch which was free for anyone who was facing Christmas day alone or in hardship.
