We gladly funded Cheshire and Warrington Carers Trust £1,800 so that 72 local unpaid carers will be able to enjoy a complimentary therapy session.
Carers Trust works to transform the lives of the 1.1 million unpaid carers in the UK. They provide funding, support, raise awareness and influence policy so that unpaid carers are heard and valued and can lead more fulfilled lives.
Following this grant, the unpaid carers will greatly benefit from the free massage sessions by offering them a chance to unwind, destress and enjoy a rare chance to focus on themselves in a session they might not be able to afford otherwise. This in turn will improve their emotional wellbeing helping them to reduce loneliness, gain confidence and feel more supported in their role as a carer.
