After speaking with local third sector organisations about their most pressing needs, we realised the biggest challenge in the sector right now is financial restraints. Charities are constantly operating on extremely tight budgets and want to prioritise their resources to the essential work they deliver, not overheads.
As such, we are deepening our commitment to the local community by offering an office suite free-of-charge to local not‑for‑profits whose work aligns with our mission of tackling the root causes of poverty and disadvantage.
The space, with beautiful views across Upper Northgate Street and the historic Roman Walls, offers a quiet environment to focus on what matters most, which could be holding a meeting, bid writing or financial planning.

By removing the cost barrier of office space, The Chester Bluecoat Charity hopes to give local organisations more room—both financially and practically—to focus on delivering the vital services our community relies on. It’s a simple but powerful way to support those who support others.
